The Commonwealth Government has funded the Enablement Support Model Project (Project) in the Hunter trial site so that work can be done with the cohort to determine if the enablement approach can lead to a shift from service led options to options that increase independence, or reduce the need for formal services, without adversely affecting individual outcomes. The Project is being carried out by a non-government provider, Ourcare Services, based in Singleton, from 1 October 2015 to 30 June 2016.
