Consultations under way for a national framework to support government investment in prevention programs

Published

Home modifications can be a useful tool in prevention and reduction of the need for care by supporting autonomy and mobility.

This paper on Housing Design and Community Care by  P. Carnemolla and C. Bridge outlines how Home Modifications reduce care needs of older people and people with disability.

If you have your own stories or insights about home mods, you can join in the consultation process for the new framework here: https://engage.pc.gov.au/projects/quality-care/page/prevention-investment before the 6th of June.
