Change of mailing list (listserv) email address

Published

Dear HMinfo Users,

We would like to bring your attention to a very urgent and important matter that impacts users of our mailing lists (listserv) which are using our online forums.

WHAT:

The email addresses to access the Occupational Therapist mailing list (listserv) and Built Environment Industry Professionals mailing list will be undergoing a minor change.

WHO:

All Occupational Therapists and Built Environment Industry Professionals who are currently registered as members in their respective forums, will be impacted by this new change in processes.

WHY:

UNSW is undergoing a revamp of IT support systems for staff and students within the university. The Home Modification Information Clearinghouse which resides on the Kensington campus is impacted as a result of the changes in terms of the IT support it receives. One of the areas affected is our online mailing lists which are linked to the Occupational Therapist forum and Built Environment Industry Professionals forum. We will now independently manage the mailing list. The purpose of this change is to safeguard the mailing list’s continual operation and level of functionality by migrating it to the homemods.info domain name.

WHEN:

From the 10th of June onwards, all mail to the mailing list will need to be sent to homemodot-shrs@lists.homemods.info or homemodbe-pros@lists.homemods.info depending on your registration type.

HOW:

The Occupational Therapist mailing list email address will be changed from homemodot-shrs@lists.unsw.edu.au to . The Built Environment Industry Professionals mailing list email address will be changed from to homemodbe-pros@lists.homemods.info. Please add the new email address to your contact list/address book and safe sender list.

We apologise for the short notice and inconvenience that this sudden change may have caused our users. Please be assured, we will endeavour to redirect any subscribers who may not have received this message to the new email addresses.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please contact us at .
