Free Introduction to Supported Decision Making Workshop - for Disability Services Staff

The NSW Office of Public Guardian Supported Decision Making Project team will be continuing in 2017 to offer free training workshops for disability services staff to promote the decision making rights of people with disability.

As the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) rolls out across the state, disability service providers have an important role to play in continuing to build the capacity of people with disability to make their own decisions.
This Introduction to Supported Decision Making training will be considered in the context of the transition to the NDIS.

Managers, Team Leaders, Key Workers and Program Staff
are encouraged to register their interest to attend. The workshop will be one full day, with an optional one day train-the-trainer opportunity at a later date.

Date:

Wednesday, 8 March 2017,   9:30 am - 4:30 pm

The Portside Centre, Symantec House, Level 5, 207 Kent St, Sydney
