As part of the NDS Quality Support Project, NDS is hosting a second round of quality workshops across NSW. These workshops will be split into two topic areas, with the opportunity for discussion and web portal demonstrations after the workshops.
Topic 1: An introduction to the Quality requirements. 10.30-12.30This session is a repeat of earlier workshops for services that have not attended previously.Topics covered will include: A brief overview - the ADHC quality requirements and the NDS Quality Support Project; explaining the benefits of being a quality service to your stakeholders; disability reforms and quality; steps towards meeting ADHC’s quality requirements; how being a quality organisation fits with being a person centred organisation; completing a self-assessment; the Third Party Verification process; and tips for success.
Topic 2: Preparation for Third Party Verification. 2.00-3.00This session will give a practical example of how to prepare for Third Party Verification and the opportunity to ask questions. This session is based on the feedback from organisations from the 1st round of workshops, and feedback from TPVs.
The Quality Support Team will be available after the sessions for portal demonstrations, to answer your questions and to make individual appointments with your organisation.Meet the Third Party Verifiers (TPVs) in Penrith, Orange and HomebushTPVs will also be available from 12.30-4pm for queries, quotes and bookings.
