Are you caring for a family member or friend? Carers come from all walks of life, cultural backgrounds and age groups.
If you provide care and support to someone with a disability, mental illness, drug or alcohol dependencies, chronic conditions, terminal illness or is frail due to age, then you are a carer. Anyone can become a carer at any time.
Join Mary Magias from the Carers NSW Education and Training team to understand more about carers, the types of support available, and how you can access that support.
This one-hour presentation which will include a Q&A session with Carers NSW. The session will also include a discussion on Sutherland Shire Libraries’ Home Library service for carers and care recipients.
