Falls and falls injury is a persistent and pervasive public health issue in Australia. Effective and sustainable falls prevention requires a comprehensive understanding of the diverse driving factors behind falls, effective identification of at-risk groups, the elimination of risk, and valuable education about falls, particularly for the elderly population in Australia. The National Falls Prevention Summit will facilitate open discussion, offer excellent networking opportunities and a chance to leverage knowledge from key case studies and experts in this field.
