The Joanna Briggs Institute's International Convention: The 2013 Campaign for Getting Evidence into Policy.

This year’s convention, themed ‘The 2013 campaign for getting evidence into policy’.

The JBI International Convention is always an exuberant and lively event exploring perspectives on various aspects of the evidence-based healthcare movement. This year, the JBI Convention has been designed to bring together a diverse international range of key stakeholders to focus specifically on the role of The Joanna Briggs Institute; to discuss, develop and promote the work of the Institute and to shape our organisation’s future.

The Institute has always maintained that members, subscribers, collaborators and other associates are the lifeblood of our organisation as they drive and influence the work we undertake and they way we undertake it. This meeting is your opportunity to feed in to this process and to make an impact on how we move forward, both scientifically and pragmatically.

Whether you are a researcher, reviewer, guideline developer, clinician, educator, policy maker, administrator or consumer, we are interested to hear your perspectives and experiences of the science and application of evidence in policy and practice utilising JBI approaches.

Over the three days, the convention will provide a range of informative sessions and workshops to extend your thinking and knowledge, networking opportunities, collaboration and enjoyment.
