Skills in ‘OT Draw’ – Level 2

A 3 hour training session about OT Draw.

OT Draw is a custom made drawing program designed especially for Occupational Therapists.
The session is targeted at Occupational Therapists who want to develop skills in computer
aided drawing to create professional home modification diagrams.

Participants will require their own computers with the OT Draw software installed. A free trial
version is available at www.otdraw.com

Participants are encouraged to bring real life examples, including photos, of home
modification diagrams from their clinical experience.

 

Learning Objectives:

Through the training session participants will develop skills in the following areas:
- Understand the layout and environment of the OT Draw program
- Learn how to draw to scale
- Use the OT Draw program to quickly and easily draw bathroom templates, stair and ramps
diagrams
- Creation of professional bathroom floorplans with their corresponding side views
- Use of tools to draw directly onto photos
- Transferring diagrams into professional OT reports

Pre-requisites:
This training session is open to Occupational Therapists of all levels of computer literacy.
No specific knowledge is required however this session will cater for OTs who have used
computer aided drawing programs.
OT Draw will assist OTs in drawing both minor and major home modifications.
