The next Queensland Home Modification Discussion Group Meeting will be held on Saturday 21 July from 10am to 12noon at LifeTec Australia, the Reading Centre, Newmarket Brisbane. Access on the day is via the lift from the underground car park.
Maree O'Shea will take you on a journey that focuses on the personal, social and physical aspects of the home and applying simple universal design and decoration features to make them liveable for everyone regardless of age, family needs or changes a person may experience during their lifetime. She will showcase recent projects and share with you insights on why purpose and values are two of the most powerful tools when undertaking interior design projects.
The forum will discuss how consumers, Occupational Therapists, and Interior Decorators/Designers can work collaboratively to enhance the aesthetics of the home.
This is a free event for students, clinicians, design and construction professionals, and consumers. Certificates of attendance will be issued after the session. If you would like to attend, please rsvp at and please bring a plate to share on the day.
