Alzheimer’s Australia NSW and the Centre for Disability Studies at the University of Sydney and the University of New England, are exciting to be hosting a one-day symposium featuring internationally renowned researcher Professor Matthew Janicki and a range of other distinguished speakers.
The symposium will feature presentations that cover the latest research about people with a disability who acquire dementia, and hear from a range of organisations across the aged care and disability services sector about how they are responding to their goals and needs. Attendees will be given the opportunity to network and discuss the presentations in a World Café session as well as enjoying a 2-course lunch overlooking the Domain.
Who should attend? Aged care and disability organisations (management and client contact staff), policy makers, academics, family members.
