The NCC Information Seminar includes presentations from the ABCB, Standards Australia and local Building Control Administrations. They consist of a half-day session, dedicated to the use and application of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) with an additional half day afternoon session focussing on performance solutions to be held in Sydney and Melbourne. Come along to hear a presentation concerning the application of select BCA provisions to various designs and scenarios. In addition, the session will cover transformational changes planned for NCC 2019, future initiatives, and updates on the CodeMark product certification scheme. This session will also include information on fire safety in high rise buildings. Standards Australia Update — participants will be provided with an update on recently published standards, as well as standards under development that may be of interest to the building sector. State Perspective — this session, presented by your local building control administration, will contain information specific to the relevant jurisdiction.
