2nd Rural and Remote Health Conference 2010

The NSW Institute of Rural Clinical Services and Teaching (IRCST) is proud to present the 2nd Rural and Remote Health Conference.

This conference follows on from the extremely successful inaugural conference held in Coffs Harbour in 2008, and will attract health professionals from every Area Health Service in rural and remote NSW.

Supporting the contemporary rural health professional, the conference theme is “Many paths to follow”. It will provide insight into emerging models of care and best practice, new directions for our rural and remote workforce, opportunities to improve Aboriginal Health, and initiatives to make our rural and remote communities healthier.

The conference will be enhanced by a series of workshops both before and after the conference proper, with proposed workshops to include wound management, sports injury, respiratory/occupational lung disease, embracing change, and women’s health.
