This dynamic event has been organised in response to the increasing levels of unspent funds in Home Care Packages. Our Sydney events were sold out and proved to be very popular with attendees.
At Lorraine Poulos and Associates we believe unspent funds are accumulating for some of the following reasons:
1. Providers having a limited menu of service offerings thereby limiting the choice for consumers
2. Consumers/others not understanding the intent of the HCP program and how services should be tailored to the identified needs by ACAT
3. Lack of skills with some staff not being competent/confident enough to 'design' a package of services with consumers/others
4. Lack of innovation in service offerings
5. Lack of the knowledge skills for the identification of the clinical care needs of consumers
The seminar will include tips and examples of what others are doing and the importance of marketing your service offerings. All attendees will receive extensive resources on a take home USB.
