There is little specific information pertaining to the design requirements of the physical home environment for people who experience problems with cognition who display aggressive or self-injurious behaviour. A systematic review, guided by the Protocol guidelines for systematic reviews of home modification information to inform best practice (Bridge & Phibbs, 2003) was implemented in this study.

TADVIC is an organisation whose volunteer members design, construct or modify equipment for people with disabilities. This service is provided where no commercially available solution will meet their needs. The website contains examples of projects they have worked on and their contact details.

This is a fantastic and easy to use website that takes the viewer through a virtual house, each room is filled with hotspots which when opened by the mouse display an information panel that displays practical information and links to where more detailed information can be located.
