NSW State Council
The NSW State Council is the peak body representing all the Home Modification and Maintenance Services (HMMS) in NSW funded by Home and Community Care (HACC) Program. The State Council is an elected body that represents the interests of HMMS and works to maintain standards and quality of HMMS.
HMM Services
Home Modification and Maintenance Services are part of the HACC program. These services provide modification and some maintenance work to people who are frail aged, people with disabilities and their carers so they may live more independently.
There are three levels within the HMMS structure. The three levels reflect monetary value of the modifications:
- Level 1 is for minor modifications valued between $0 - $5,000.00.
- Level 2 is for complex modifications valued between $5,000.00 - $20,000.00.
- Level 3 for jobs valued over $20,000.00.
