Hi, I have a client that has an undiagnosed cognitive/neurological impairment, on the background of possible mental health issues.  Lives alone in Housing SA unit, 2 x sons, one who she has contact with.  She has a double bed, on a solid wooden base, the mattress is poor and slumped in the place most where she lays.  Her main issues is sitting up in the bed to transfer out (this is due to several factors - muscle wastage, deconditioned, possible neuro invloved with motor planning issues)  I have not recommended a bed pole due to the risks, however i am only aware of the 'self'help triangle pole as an alternative option.  Is there other equipment out there that will be feasible for her?  The self help pole is not compatible with the base of the bed.

thanks in advance for any help!
